Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Zurich — Gateway to Switzerland

Arrive at Zurich Airport and transfer by train to your centrally located 4-star hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring Zurich's charming Altstadt (Old Town) with its medieval guild houses, artisan chocolate shops and the banks of the Limmat river. Walk up to ETH Zurich for the city's finest panoramic views. Evening stroll along the Lake Zurich promenade.

Day 2: Lucerne & Mt. Rigi — Queen of the Mountains

Train to Lucerne (50 minutes, Swiss Pass included). Walk the iconic Chapel Bridge — the world's oldest covered wooden bridge (1333). See the Lion Monument, carved from the living rock as a tribute to Swiss Guards who died in 1792. Board a nostalgic paddle steamer across Lake Lucerne, then the red cogwheel railway to Mt. Rigi summit at 1,798 m — often with views above the clouds.

Day 3: Scenic Train to Interlaken — Alpine Heart of Switzerland

Board the panoramic scenic train from Zurich towards Bern and on to Interlaken — a railway journey through the Swiss Midlands with meadows, farmhouses and Bernese Prealps on all sides. Arrive in Interlaken — the town between two lakes (Thun and Brienz) with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau visible on clear days. Evening take the funicular up to Harder Kulm (1,322 m) for the famous "two lakes" view.

Day 4: Jungfrau Region — Top of Europe (Optional)

Free day to explore the Jungfrau Region at your own pace. The unmissable optional excursion is Jungfraujoch "Top of Europe" — Europe's highest railway station at 3,454 m, with the Aletsch Glacier (UNESCO) spread below you. Alternatively, walk in Grindelwald village, visit the First Cliff Walk, or explore Lauterbrunnen valley with its 72 waterfalls.

Day 5: GoldenPass Belle Époque · Montreux · Geneva

Board the legendary GoldenPass Belle Époque panoramic train from Interlaken — one of the world's most beautiful rail journeys through the pre-Alps. Stop in Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva: visit the 13th-century Chillon Castle (inspiration for Byron's poem), walk the flower-lined lakeside promenade. Continue to Geneva — the international city of peace. Evening at leisure along Lac Léman.

Day 6: Geneva Farewell · Return to Dubai

Morning free time in Geneva to browse the United Nations quarter, visit the Flower Clock, or pick up Swiss chocolate and watches. Transfer to Geneva Airport for your return international flight to Dubai.
