Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi — Street Food Evening

Land at Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter. After check-in and freshening up, take a guided evening walk through the 36 streets of the Old Quarter — each street named after the craft guild that historically operated there. Explore Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple (Jade Mountain Temple) on its tiny island. Street food dinner: pho, banh mi and bun cha.

Day 2: Ninh Binh — Hoa Lu, Tam Coc & Mua Cave

Early departure to Ninh Binh (2.5 hours south). Begin at Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel — the 10th-century capital of Vietnam with two royal temples. Board a traditional rowing boat for the famous Tam Coc river cruise, gliding through three cave tunnels in the limestone landscape. Hike the 500-step Dragon Mountain at Mua Cave for a breathtaking panoramic view of the paddy field valley that inspired the landscape in Kong: Skull Island.

Day 3: Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay — Overnight Cruise (UNESCO)

Transfer to Ha Long City by speedboat (approx. 2.5 hours). Check in to your overnight cruise ship and sail into the heart of Halong Bay — a UNESCO World Heritage Site with 1,600 limestone karst islands. Kayak through hidden lagoons and floating fishing villages. Enjoy a Vietnamese cooking class onboard, fresh seafood dinner, and watch the sunset from the sundeck. Overnight on the bay.

Day 4: Cave Exploration · Sunrise on Bay · Flight to Da Nang

Rise early for a sunrise tai chi session on the sundeck with misty bay views. After breakfast, explore the Dark Cave and Bright Cave by kayak — paddle through narrow caverns into vast chambers. Disembark and transfer to the airport for an afternoon domestic flight to Da Nang. Hotel check-in and evening free to explore the beachfront.

Day 5: Ba Na Hills — The Iconic Golden Bridge

The day everyone photographs before they arrive. Take Asia's longest cable car (5,801 m) up to Ba Na Hills at 1,487 m. Walk across the legendary Golden Bridge — a 150-metre glass walkway held aloft by two colossal stone hands — with clouds literally below your feet. Explore the French Village replica with its wine cellar, gardens and chateau. Fantastic panoramic views over Da Nang city and coastline.

Day 6: Hội An Ancient Town · Coconut Jungle Boat Ride

Transfer to Hội An (45 minutes). Spend the morning in the UNESCO-listed Ancient Town — lantern-draped merchant houses, the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge (1593), colourful shop-houses, and the vibrant Central Market. Afternoon coconut jungle boat ride through the Thu Bon River delta waterways. Bicycle along the Thu Bon river at sunset. Evening lantern festival walk and farewell dinner at a riverside restaurant.

Day 7: Departure — Da Nang to Dubai

Free morning for last-minute shopping in Hội An (silk scarves, custom tailoring, lanterns). Transfer to Da Nang International Airport for your return flight to Dubai. Arrive home with memories of seven extraordinary days across northern and central Vietnam.
